I usually vote for a Republican or two at the local level (although I admit, I didn't in 2006) because there are a small number of Republicans who haven't become Christianized Zombies. How long that will last, I don't know. If the United States wants to remain a super power we have got to invest in research on alternative energy and conservation. Nitwit Bush has never figured this out (Oil!) and the whole anti-science ways of his administration is probably costing of billions of dollars. And so on!
