I have been experimenting with film and video all my life. Somewhere I have a box of 8mm films I did from the ages of 12 to 19. About ten years ago, the computer revived my interest in making little movies and recently YouTube has really sparked my interest again.
Here are some little snippets I have done over the years. I’ll add more as time goes on. I have to search through tons of old CD-ROMS and Zip disks.
The Revolution:
This was my final for sociology class. It’s a video collage expressing the major social changes throughout the 20th century from war and the depression to the civil and gay rights movements. I felt the song Revolution by the Beatles added a certain something to the piece.
The Brown Elephant:
There is an HIV/AIDS organization in Chicago called the Howard Brown Health Center. They have several resale shops in Chicago called The Brown Elephant. After the dot-com bust, I got a job managing one of the stores. It was back to school time and we did a window display of a student sitting at a desk with a computer. On the computer was this self promotional video that was on a loop. It is comprised of several digital photos from the store and animated with Adobe After Effects.

Please understand; I do not have your talent for video, computer audio mixing, or overall hygiene. I don’t want to do fictional quote from the wrongly depicted William Wallace, but “I am a barbarian”.
Don’t you love it when people say “I dont want to…. ” then they do it anyway? Bastards.
I am unemployed and between a plethora of job interviews I try to find something to do. I finally said “what’s this app” on my extremely inferior computing machine and made my first ever music video.
Before viewing, beware it was made on utilizing a Sony DSC P-52 camera and some picture scanned in by an equivalent antiquated scanner. Behold my technology and validate my fictional / parallel William Wallace statement. This evidence cannot be ignored, nor will I SIT here, TYPE AWAY the California tax payer dollars while you RIDICULE AND …. whoops. Sorry, had a flashback to a recent job interview(s).
anyway. HERE!

the cat at the end of the video is my missing one Monty. Please put the word out in the event she made it to the Az. (gang talk. Proud of me for the hippness?)
The wife says hello. We’re sorry we missed your visit to the southland. Aren’t you indeed further south than our California southland?
This is the second video from our first album, which was made 12 years ago. Are you not PROUD, very PROUD, as to how productive we are in releasing complementary media to our audio CD?
Yes. I thought you were.
